Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso had a meeting in Abuja, on Saturday.
Both key opposition figures were on the ballot in the last presidential election won by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The meeting is the second which Kwankwaso would hold with a key figure of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), the coalition plotting to unseat Tinubu in 2027.
The meeting is believed to be about next year’s election as politicians have continued to align and realign ahead of the elections.
